I just wanted to let everyone know how the recording is going.
If you haven't heard, After Ezra was given a great opportunity to record a demo a few weeks ago! We set up a temporary recording studio in my house and spent over a week working on a few songs. I gotta give props to David Shroder, our guest recording engineer and April, my wife :) who let me fill the house with loud music and a billion cords, mics, drums and guitars!
Currently, the 6 song demo is back in NC getting mixed by David! The mixing process sets each individual instrument level, adds some effects and blends all the sounds together.
After mixing, it will be sent to get mastered. Mastering sets the levels as a whole and prepares the cd to be played over multiple speakers...computer, head phones, car, etc.
Finally, the cd will be sent off to be duplicated and packaged!
Then, we can all sit back and enjoy!
