Every once in awhile, God gives us a glimpse of His love. We like to think we understand what love is, but the depth of real love is just too great for us to comprehend.
However, God does let us in on how to love each other. He demonstrates this loving relationship between Jesus and His bride, the church. With that love in mind, we get married and through good and bad we learn to love and be loved.
Even still, we can only understand love to the degree that we experience it. The good thing is that God never quits revealing the depths of His unfailing love. He gives us more and more opportunity to experience it.
On Oct 16th, my son, London Kade, came to earth and in came more love! When I hold him in my arms I know that I would do all and give all for his sake. He is mine and I am his. No matter how many times he cries and wakes me up I love him. Sometime even a little more than before.
When you think about it, that must be how God looks at us. He loves us for good! More and more each day regardless of how many times we cry and wake Him up. His love never changes, never fails, and is always there.
